Lecture Details :

The Potential Step, case: E ≥ V₀
For our next problem, we look into the situation when a particle travels in one direction and suddenly experiences a jump in the potential V₀ at x = 0. We isolated the case where the energy of the particle is greater than the potential, otherwise known as a simple scattering problem.

Course Description :

Our focus now is on solving physical one-dimensional problems - infinite square well potential, potential barrier, harmonic oscillator, and the most common phenomena of tunneling.
