Prof Hal Varian presented a talk entitled " Evolutionary Business - The Effect of Computer-Mediated Transactions" , for the John Condliffe Memorial Lecture at the College of Business and Economics, University of Canterbury , Christchurch New Zealand. Hal provided a fascinating and entertaining analysis of the changes taking place in e-commerce to an audience of 150+ members of the academic and business community.
