This lecture goes over the process of using UNIX Shells and writing shell scripts in Unix. It provides an overview of c-shell, csh, script commands and compares them with bash, borne and other shell features. An overview of shell scripting is provides with some examples. There is also some information provided to explain how Unix start up and configuration scripts work.
