This screencast discusses polynomials an their representation in MATLAB as vectors of coefficients, the POLYVAL command for evaluating polynomials, the POLYFIT command for finding the polynomial of best fit through a set of paired data, and how to plot the polynomial regression line obtained through POLYFIT on top of a scatterplot.
