This video continues with the theory behind solving the single degree of freedom equation of motion for a variety of standard forcing functions, but now focusing on the damped response (in particular to a step input, although the method for other functions is similar), and the phenomenon of beating, which occurs when the natural frequency of the system is close to the forcing oscillation of the system.
